I've stayed in worse, but that said you can get better for similar or a little more in key areas in KL. I could best describe the area as isolated without your own transport. It's not as the bird flies that far out but transport it is. It's just.not where you want to stay in KL if you want to experience the place. There's a few local places to eat but I found myself sticking around in town proper then heading back later at night. The monorail station is end of the line.you'll spend money going anywhere. There is a back road that cuts in down.but you'll only discover it after you eventually find it. When they say it's close to the monorail it's maybe a 1km walk, and you will struggle to find it when you first visit. calling it a room is subjective: it's more a box with a bed and a small wet bathroom (we bathrooms are typical in SE Asia, so no probs with that, and at least the hot water worked.) 2.
